The Novus Development and Implementation Programme

The programme begins with 8 -16 weeks of exclusive training based in our London or Manchester training centre. Designed to give you the skills, professional certifications and experience to work as a Software Test Analyst on our blue chip client sites. We are a BCS accredited testing and training centre which will give you the opportunity to gain a number of professional accreditations and certificates from the BCS, ISTQB, Oracle and Microsoft.

The syllabus focuses on up to date industry relevant methodologies and practices, including behavioural skills, Data Analysis, Systems design, Database design, Programming and Software Development, Testing and Systems Integration.

Upon successful completion of the training you will be an ISTQB certified foundation Software Test Analyst, with the opportunity to be placed on site with one of our prestigious blue chip clients and working on some of the most exciting projects across the UK. You could be managing defect lifecycles, creating test scripts and test cases, testing smart ticketing systems or testing the automation of car manufacturing. Whichever project you work on you will be continuously developing and challenging yourself on a daily basis.


You will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for technology and IT, with an analytical approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills both written and spoken are also essential, as well as the following prerequisites:

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree (or equivalent)
  • Able to attend 8-16 weeks unpaid training in London or Manchester, before you maybe selected for work
  • Geographically flexible – Prepared to relocate around the UK
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Analytical mind and a keen eye for detail
  • A passion for technology and problem solving
  • Committed to the programme for 2 Years
