The Novus programme

If you are a graduate looking for the perfect start to your career, Capita IT Resourcing’s Novus programme is the ideal way to develop your talent

About the programme

The Novus programme is an exciting opportunity for those with an IT or STEM degree (or equivalent) to gain leading-edge industry-approved training and real-world experience working with Capita businesses and with our clients.

It can be difficult to get a job in the IT industry after graduating. That’s why the Novus programme provides you with the practical skills, experience and professional development you need to become an IT professional. With a dedicated trainer to bring your knowledge and skills up to speed, you can become a test analyst, a software developer or an IT business analyst.

Choose from:

  • Development and Implementation giving you the skills to work in roles such as  software developer or software test analyst

  • Change and Transformation giving you the skills to work in roles such as IT business analyst, requirement engineer and project support

The Novus programme isn’t just a training programme or a one-off placement; we’re offering you the opportunity to be part of a leading organisation within the IT industry. Joining the Novus programme means you will receive ongoing career development, become part of our Novus community and receive the backing and support of experienced Capita professionals.

Benefits

Our Novus programme is a two-year commitment; once you complete your initial training you will have the opportunity to work for us around the UK on a variety of projects. The work itself depends on the client and the market sector; it’s a great way to utilise your skills and gain the hands-on experience you need to drive your career forward.

If you are a graduate looking for a rewarding consultancy career, Samantha Smallwood explains in her interview with Prospects how the Novus programme can kick start your career.
