This role is an exciting opportunity to work within our Telephony Platforms team, you will get the chance to work on our new platform Amazon Connect. You will be working in a very diverse environment and could be working with any one of our 35 plus clients.

You will be helping to keep our customers working and ensuring the businesses run smoothly. You will be able to make a real difference to the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will be providing technical expertise and guidance for the Telephony Platforms team and key stakeholders regarding telephony infrastructure. Providing input to Project Teams & Architecture Review Boards for potential solutions
  • Designing, developing and implementing voice solutions for an Amazon Connect telephony platform, as well as other telephony related infrastructure, whilst also solving any technical problems using analytical skills across the same platforms.
  • Implementing client-side project requirements on various telephony platforms.
  • You will be creating telephony call flow solutions that are consistently stable, reliable and meet customer requirements within demanding timescales
  • You will be expected once established to participate in a one week in four On-Call rota.
  • You will be expected to identify, analyse, and respond to project risks, pre-empting potential issues and in some cases challenging the design and development community in order to work towards solutions.

What we're looking for:

  • You must have Amazon Connect experience. Qualifications within the field are desirable e.g. Amazon, Avaya. You need to be able to demonstrate relevant experience in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment and working with AWS Cloud technology
  • Experience with Amazon deployments and managing call flows across these. Also experience of operating in a PCI compliant environment.
  • You need to be highly self-motivated with good problem-solving skills. With a mature attitude and a willingness to assume responsibility.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and to be able to work with all levels within the organisation.
  • We are looking for someone that is a good team player as well as being able to work independently.
  • You will have prior experience supporting large Telephony environment and able to work in an ITIL service environment
