Telecoms Group Sales Manager
Location: London
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Dependent on Experience

Main Purpose of the Role
To assertively increase the London Sales performance through direct selling and building an effective sales team. You will be responsible for performing against an individual sales target as well as the team target.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a new London sales team around you
  • Work with line management to recruit a team of experienced and high performing sales people
  • Create an effective training, monitoring and management plan
  • Coach and develop direct reports on a weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual basis
  • Implement performance reviews and special measures with management according to company procedures
  • Meet and exceed revenue and profit goals, as an individual and as a team
  • Where required attend the team's client meetings to develop and support the sales team
  • Develop an understanding and knowledge of the products and industry
  • Maintain and enforce regular training sessions to ensure all sales people are kept sharp and up to date
  • Manage day-to-day performance, activity and work attendance
  • Work with the line managers to develop processes, ideas and structure to increase the performance of all sales
  • Reflect and enforce your line managements structure, pressure and drive to increase overall performance and sales abilities
  • Represent our company and yourself in a professional manner at all times


Person Specification
Experience

  • At least 3 to 5 years experience within the same role
  • Strong sales background in the telecommunications industry
  • External field sales experience
  • Sales management experience
  • Strong interpersonal experience


Skills/Knowledge/Understanding

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations
  • Strong knowledge of MS office, data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organisational skills
