Technical Support Analyst

A progressive and ambitious technology company now have an immediate requirement for a skilled and experienced Technical Support Analyst for their office based in Edinburgh. You will gain exposure to a highly innovative software application that is outsourced to some of the UK's largest businesses within the energy sector, providing 1st through 3rd line support for a range of users. You will also be provided with a unique training and progression plan from day one, developing your knowledge of various cutting-edge technologies.

You as the successful Technical Support Analyst can expect to receive a basic salary of up to £28,000, depending on level of experience, as well as a generous benefits and holiday allowance.

Your key skills and experience will include;

  • Experience in technical 2nd and 3rd line support, including liaison with customers;
  • Previous background supporting software applications is essential
  • Able to follow set support processes & procedures;
  • Ability to work under own initiative, manage own time and work to deadlines;
  • Fault analysis/Debugging skills;
  • Outstanding telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Must be ambitious and willing to learn
