A fantastic opportunity has risen to join a growing team within the Education Software industry as a Technical Sales Executive, This opportunity has come about due to growth & are looking for a bright energetic individual to join their team.

Based in their modern offices in Bedford you will be working in a team, you will be promoting & selling hardware products to their existing customers. You will have your own territory & a large list of clients already provided. You will be very consultative with a drive to earn lots of money!!

This organisation ensures educational facilities meet their commitment to ensuring every student has the best opportunity to succeed. Working with over 25,000 schools to provide instant access to information on emerging trends and highlighting areas of excellence and performance.

The technical sales teams communicates directly with schools and provides support in various guises, dealing directly, via Sims Support Units, via Local Authority and via Multi Academy Trusts.

You will have proven track record of inside sales delivery and account management to help our expansion in the state schools market. In addition you will be responsible for the direct sales of Technical hardware and Hosted SIMS products and service propositions to UK Local Authorities and schools.

Your role within The Technical Sales Team is a pivotal role from a commercial point of view as you will be working efficiently and strategically to help achieve sales.

Other responsibilities will include handling reactive sales enquiries and developing business with existing accounts at all levels. You will form long lasting relationship through rapport building

You will make a high volume of outbound calls to generate interest by selling the value of the products and build.

Key Role Responsibilities

* Seek sales target delivery within defined territory
* Developing & manage strategies
* Lead generation is key to this role with the highest performers achieving both high sales and appointment statistics
* Driving and maintaining a healthy pipeline
* Analyse a large volume of client and lead data
* Ownership of defined customer territory to work with, with the expectation of conducting full research on market trends and customer history
* Ability to make a large volume of calls daily, with defined KPI's that are a minimum
requirement, ie dials, conversations, new leads, pipeline add, and closed deals, which will be measured daily, weekly and monthly
* Previous business sales experience essential

Key Skills

* Degree in related field desirable
* 2-5 years experience in a sales organisation with at least two year of high volume outbound sales experience with proven success to target
* Work in a goal oriented environment under pressure
* Strong communication skills
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and communication skills a must
* Experience working with multiple products and services at any one time
* Confident and polished phone prospecting skills required
