About the role

My client an award-winning software house in Crewe that are looking for a Technical Lead, you will sit under the Technical Director and manage up to six developers on any given project. You will lead the back-end development on a selection of world-class web and software projects for some of the biggest B2B and B2C companies. You may be offered a choice of projects to fit your skill set.

As a Technical Lead this role involve architecting and developing new solutions, requirements gathering, reviewing developers' code. You will also help to steer the direction of back-end development by promoting and implementing new ideas

Responsibilities

  • Architecting new web and software solutions
  • Nurturing Junior and Mid-Level Developers by encouraging their development and inflaming their passion for coding, providing help when required, and conducting quarterly development sessions
  • Reviewing developers' code daily
  • Setting up web environments (Website configuration DEV, UAT and Production)
  • Deploying websites to Dev, UAT and Production
  • Taking an active interest in and promoting the use of the latest tech and approaches in back-end development
