Senior strategic pricing manager required by our leading client in Aldershot, to work on the pricing of new and existing product to airlines and government.

Rates - £650 (£571.18) - £750 (£659.05) LTD/Umbrella. In Scope of IR35

The role of the Manager, Border Management Strategic Pricing reports into the ATS Portfolio Director and will be responsible for defining pricing strategy in close cooperation with the Product Managers, Finance and the Geographies, managing the pricing portfolio of products and services to meet the revenue, margin, acquisition and retention of business objectives.

The key responsibilities for the Sr. Manager, Strategic Pricing are as follows:
Design a customer centric pricing strategy: Incorporate the 3Cs (Customer Insights, Competitive intelligence and Cost) in to the new pricing strategy approach; Develop a customer centric approach to the pricing strategy where appropriate to garner the customer willingness to pay; use the findings from market research, competitive analysis (including Win/Losses data) to advise the ATS Border Management Portfolio teams in regards to trade-offs between features, willingness to pay and pricing; effectively model and report on value proposition segments to define and monitor pricing strategy; lead effective segmentation strategy and variance based analysis to define floor and target price points of given portfolio
Support GTM Strategy: Liaise with the commercial pricing teams and geographies to understand the market dynamics for a proper design and roll out of the pricing strategy;; determine appropriate price books and discounts based on analysis of market climate, competition and product life cycle; contribute to bid approval process through regular reviews of price variance charts and metrics; provide support to non-standard proposals, price, cost and margin analysis and customer business cases;
Support the Pricing Strategy Roll-out: Liaise with Pricing Operations Team, providing the required information to support the product portfolio from a system and billing perspective; support the creation of relevant KPIs for the business and act upon the results, changing the pricing strategy whenever needed; prepare all communication material about price book updates, including the appropriate price guidelines and bid strategy; lead effective price reviews on large opportunities with cross-functional divisional staff teams and assist in close strategy;

- 8 years + experience in a pricing and/or a product marketing management function with extensive experience in capturing the willingness to pay)
- Previous experience working with governments and an understanding of how they are structured would be highly desirable.
- SaaS experience in B2B setting is a MUST. The experience shall include proven successful transition from license to subscription models, including on prem and cloud environments along migration of customer base to subscription pricing model.
- Previous Border Management / Airline products highly desirable
- Extensive experience in setting value proposition for products against competition, competing alternatives, and internal product offerings;
- Product Portfolio Management (direct or indirect) experience highly desirable.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- General understanding of financial and cost accounting practices;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience in working in highly matrix organization with global and/or international environments
- Excellent PC skills with proficiency with Microsoft Excel and preferably with additional database- SQL, Tableau.
- BA in Economics, Business, Marketing, Finance or equivalent work experience.
- MBA highly desirable
