The company
A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for an experienced SQL Database Developer to join an innovative Development team on a permanent basis. My client is a growing, reputable company who provide bespoke business intelligence packages to a wide range of clients.

The role
Your new organisation will depend on you to develop custom stored procedures and database functions, whilst bridging the gap between the DBAs & business users. You will work closely with the rest of the team and will become the go to individual to enhance the end users experience and data extraction. The main responsibilities of your new role will be developing stored procedures along with developing the ETL. You will also take responsibility for some of the bespoke report developments and during your time here you will be trained on Microsoft Azure.

What you need
You'll need to be able to learn and modify new concepts quickly & have experience of data visualisation development. You will be skilled in understanding various databases of which the main one will be SQL Server however you will be trained on Oracle if needed. Experience of optimizing queries and understanding indexes would be advantageous as well as experience with a cloud platform. You must have experience with an ETL tool such as SSIS, Alteryx or BODS. The organisation completes their work in an Agile fashion, so any knowledge or commercial experience of this would be beneficial.
