Solutions Architect to work for a FTSE 100 organisation. Our customer is a house-hold known organisation and have established a joint partnership with a key regulator and energy companies. Due to growth, and the upcoming new release of smart metering technologies they are now looking for a Solutions Architect to join the senior technology management team based in London.
The nature of the role will be to work within the Directorate of the Chief Technology Officer and report to the Deputy CTO. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the requirements placed on the Smart Metering system are translated into practical implementations that are effective and efficient. You will own the Smart Metering system vision and ensures that, as the project passes from inception to delivery, the principles underlying the design remain consistent and that problems identified in the transition to live operation are resolved without compromising that original vision.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Architect with strong experience of the Software Development life-cycle. As this is Smart Metering focused, the following experience is seen as highly desirable; Smart Energy Code, knowledge of Smart Metering. Additionally, experience of working for a telecoms or energy company is seen as highly desirable.
