An industry leading, internationally renowned UK business are currently looking to add a skilled and experienced Solution Architect to their expanding team based out of Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. This is an opportunity for you to work at the forefront of one of the most innovative projects ever undertaken by this large establishment that is genuinely at the cutting-edge Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software solutions.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Fully understanding the technical requirements for the deployment of RPA solutions.
  • Promote the application of RPA across multiple business units with an ability to clearly articulate what RPA can achieve to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Work with IT teams to ensure suitable provision of infrastructure, virtualisation, connectivity and security to enable the RPA solution to run effectively and efficiently
  • Architect and design RPA workflows and automations that are efficient, robust and reusable
  • Communicating between internal departments and external parties, acting as a 'translator' where necessary to incorporate how technology can support the business unit's needs.
  • Educate and encourage the development team on RPA best practice

Your skills & experience;

  • Experience of projects that use technology to transform end to end business processes through automation and integration.
  • Experience architecting and designing enterprise technology solutions.
  • An understanding of Robotic Process Automation technologies if not already an expert.
  • Significant experience in software design and development using technologies such as C#, .NET, Web Services, Windows Workflow and other related technologies.
  • Good knowledge and experience of SQL database technologies including MS SQL Server and associated tools such as SSAS and SSRS.
  • A good understanding of IT infrastructure dependencies that support system performance, resilience, scalability and security. For example, physical infrastructure needs, virtualisation, network connectivity, operating system dependencies etc.
  • Willingness to travel UK wide for work when required

If successful, you can expect to receive a salary of around £65,000 dependent on your level of experience and knowledge of RPA.
