Service Desk Team Leader

Capita IT Resourcing is currently recruiting for a Service Desk Team Leader to join us in our Newbury office. The successful applicant will be responsible for a team of 12 Customer Service Analysts who support Capita software for local authorities. The majority of issues are dealt with through a customer portal and are more application support in nature so this is NOT a call centre environment. The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that the team knows what is expected of them on a day-to-day basis has the tools and everything that they need to deliver excellent customer satisfaction. The customer is at the centre of everything that we do in Capita and this role is part of our first line in ensuring our service is excellent.

Requirements for the role:

- The role would suit someone who understands application support and has managed a team of a similar size before.
- Knowledge of the Capita ONE software would be a real bonus but is by no means essential.
- Previous team lead/management experience is required.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practice and a wider overview of ITSM processes and procedures.
