Service Desk/Support Engineer - Tableau, Cognos, MI

Capita are looking for an experienced Senior IT Administrator who will provide technical support for a variety of software and hardware platforms and applications used to deliver Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Services. As such knowledge of database management, various operating systems and different programming languages is required. In this role you must have an understanding of the principles and approaches of IM&T systems that influence their performance and also be familiar with the ITIL Framework and using the ServiceNow application. You will be required to undertake installs, commissioning, fault diagnosis and enhance solution performance for applications such as Tableau, Planning Analytics, Cognos Analytics and wide range of tools used within the Data Science domain such as Python, Jupiter Notebook, R.

Essential Experience:

  • SQL Server 2016 - 2019 Familiarity with Backup and Restore, and configuration of SQL Server, User administration Roles, database sizing.
  • T SQL scripting
  • Windows Server Admin 2016 and greater
  • PowerShell
  • Tableau
  • Cognos Analytics
  • Docker Swam
