Service Delivery Manager

Based in Birmingham but will accomodate some remote working

Up to £40,000pa plus 10% car allowance and 10% bonus

I have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager within one of Capita's most exciting and individualistic companies - Capita Workplace Technology. CWT operate nationally across the UK working with blue chip, public sector and SME clients. A major partner with leading technology developers in the workplace technology sector, CWT occupies a unique position in the market being part of the largest BPO organisation in the UK. The only company that presently can demonstrate the ability to deliver in house and end to end total document and workplace technology solutions to any size of organisation across the UK.

The principle aim of the role is to ensure that customer delight is created, measured and maintained from the point where the initial solution has been installed and signed off for the duration of the contract.

The constituent parts of the role are;

  • To know and understand the key customer stakeholders, the key locations and the solutions provided from roll out to business as usual
  • Being the customer point of contact for problems and escalations
  • Solving customer problems by understanding them and liaising with Capita departments (e.g. Service, billing, IT, toner ordering etc.) to solve the problem and communicate with the customer
  • Creating reports for the customer on both a scheduled and ad-hoc basis
  • Manage the planning of monthly or quarterly account review meetings including briefing of the Account director, checking of the Management Information (MI) report and attending the meeting itself
  • Manage extra installations, removals and machine moves for the customer
  • Ensure that meter readings are collected from non-networked machines
  • Ensure that automated toner replenishment preparation and processing are complete
  • Keep abreast of the customer's future strategy such as change of locations and growth etc
  • Be the eyes and ears of Capita looking for opportunities and pre-empting problems

You must have excellent interpersonal skills, a real "people person" who can wuickly build trust with stakeholders and clients. The team is a very dynamic and driven one, we are seeking individuals who will continue to embody the proactive nature.

You should be sales-focused in your approach, ideally understanding the importance of what you do and how that feeds into the sales-driven growth of the business. Whilst this is important this is catagorically not a sales role!

If you have previous experience in smaller organisations, this would be ideal for my client. We need candidates who are self-starters, resourceful and used to working on multiple tasks at once.
