Salary: up to £60,000pa

My client is recruiting for a senior software developer to join one of the most exciting software engineering teams based in Chorley, you'll be collaborating and building a real-time video intelligence platform which harnesses data & insights based on customer behaviour. Working with the likes of the NHS, the solutions you will build are market leading and have driven growth for my client from 10 people only 10 years ago to now over 350 staff.

In terms of technology, you'll be working with .NET Core, Azure DevOps, RabbitMQ, NServiceBus and they focus on OO Design and SOLID/TDD. Importantly they want your ideas and contributions for their platform so you'll be able to contribute towards the design architecture heavily.

The main duties of the role are to help company progress technically and provide advice and ideas on how to do this.

Day to day:

Designing, developing, implementing, and releasing high quality custom software solutions

Carrying out transformation of software designs to programme logic.

Analysing existing solutions to highlight areas for improvement

Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews

Willingness to take on additional responsibility to ensure team success and quality solutions

Team player that understands how their own work is important to the team's success

Ability to multitask across different projects

Lead on discrete projects, development and design
