Senior Security Architect - London/ Remote - £70,000 - £80,000 Plus Package

Senior Security Architect to work for a leading BPO provider, my client has a large IT investment covering everything from enterprise software and software development, through to data centre and cloud hosting platforms as well as the latest technology in support of business and client delivery. All of which is exposed to cyber criminals wanting to damage our reputation, obtain sensitive information about our business and our clients, and consume our IT resource for criminal activity (i.e. botnets).

The role of the Senior Security Architect is to support the Chief Security Architect with the delivery of the business, IT and Cyber Security strategy through:

You will be

  • Leading, as a security SME, the development of IT architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with the stakeholders.
  • Review of information systems for compliance with corporate security policy and legislation, specifying any required changes.
  • Contribution to the development of corporate security policies, standards and guidelines.
  • Monitoring the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies.
  • Identifying new and emerging technologies and products based on own area of expertise, assesses their relevance and potential value to the organisation, contributes to briefings of staff and management.
  • Educating and communicating with the broader technology community.
  • Promotion of use of appropriate security frameworks, techniques, methodologies and tools.
  • Deputizing for the Chief Security Architect when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Broad security knowledge gained through training and certification (i.e. ISC2 CISSP or equiv.)
  • Broad technical security architecture knowledge gained through training and certification (i.e. ISC2 CISSP-ISSAP, BCS Practitioner Certificate in Security Architecture or equiv.)
  • Domain expertise knowledge in architecture methodologies gained through training and certification in TOGAF and/or SABSA.
  • Security technology knowledge covering one or more of the following: SIEM, SOAR, DLP, EDR, PAM and/or PKI/CA.

Ideally the candidate will also have architecture development and modelling knowledge and experience with Orbus iServer and ArchiMate.
