Senior Pre-Sales Service Architect

Capita IT Resourcing has a current requirement for a Senior Pre-Sales Service Architect to join us on a permanent basis. The role will be home-based with regular travel to customer sites. We need someone who can think "outside the box" when it comes to innovative service management ideas, service model, functions and tools for the management of End User Computing Services.

General deliverables include:

  • Service design and documentation
  • Customer engagement
  • Workshops
  • Transition planning
  • Oversight of transition from design to delivery

Key skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in designing, developing and implementing sustainable and scale-able service management processes and procedures
  • EUC (End User Computing) experience
  • Experience in selecting and applying service management principles, policies and techniques in client operational environments
  • Customer-focused with ability to identify and understand the (internal or external) customer's needs
  • Able to display a high-level of knowledge relating to service management
  • Experience of working at a senior operations management level
  • Extensive IT outsource knowledge to include developing and using ITO cost models
  • Experience of working in large change programmes in a leadership role
  • Able to perform peer reviews, audits, standards compliance checks and due diligence as required
  • Demonstrable consultancy skills
  • Good experience as a Service Architect/ Consultant with excellent design experience
  • Good pre-sales experience
