I am currently on the lookout for a SAP HCM Consultant to join a Workday Project based in London. This is an initial 6 month contract.

What you'll be doing

  • Complete Azure Re-platforming related analysis, set up and testing
  • Where changes in SAP Finance have been made to support S/4 HANA, analyse the impacts to SAP HCM (i.e. processes, functionality, such as feeds, report selection criteria and potential resulting changes in downstream systems and determine what supporting configuration changes need to be made.
  • Implement the necessary configuration in affected SAP HCM modules and liaise with downstream system owners to test changes.
  • Define Test Scenarios and undertake testing and resolution of defects, working with the SAP Technical teams, and other workstreams, as required.
  • Actively participate in project meetings, provide input in the RAID log, identifying risks and issues and progress deliverables and actions within completion timeframes.


What you'll bring


You must have proven and recent experience of implementing SAP HCM, for global organisations, with strong configuration experience in Personnel Administration and Organisation Management modules, ideally with integration to other SAP Modules such as FI/CO. Experience of Absence Management, Benefits Management and Payroll would be advantageous as would knowledge of Workday, but not essential.

  • Experience of working on large-scale global programmes, understanding the cross-programme dependencies and factor these into your work;
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to change; a high level of initiative and ability to adjust to fit a dynamic and wide-ranging operation;
  • Experience of investigating, identifying and resolving complex issues in challenging, time-pressured situations with sensitivity and professionalism;
  • Ability to monitor and adapt own work and work of others in order to meet set objectives and processes in a fast-moving environment;
  • Experience in using testing tools, defining test scenarios and preparing test scripts and completing testing;
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written, keen awareness of audience, able to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences and confidently engage with a varied range of stakeholders, being a trusted advisor.
  • Strong organisational skills, having a methodical and thorough approach to managing activities;
