SALES MANAGER / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER £40k plus bonues

A fantastic opportunity has risen for a Sales Manager to join a market leading world renowned organisation that will manage a field sales team. You will be expected to deliver and exceed sales targets by focussing on the team by winning new customers within the education market. You will also win additional business within other areas of the education market.

The Sales Manager will manage the field based sales team, drive sales activity expectations; build a pipeline of opportunities; drive and close sales to meet and exceed the sales targets. Within your team you will also have 2 x Telephone based sales roles who work in conjunction with the field based sales people to enhance the brand & other sales opportunities.


As the Sales Manager you will own the go-to-market sales model for New Logo sales. You will drive improvements in activity and efficiency within the external sales team working closely with the Sales Director in order to deliver the business objectives is key to the success of this role.

The Role:

  • You will manage the external sales team;
  • You will understand the New Logo strategy & influence it;
  • You will organise weekly team meetings, individually goal set & deliver on targets;
  • You will develop sales & account strategy plans.;
  • You will manage & motivate the field sales team to achieve the key performance indicators set out by the business;
  • You will attend Sales meetings & key customer sales meetings.

About you:

  • You will have 5+ years' experience of Field Sales Management & personal sales experience with demonstrable success in high revenue existing & new business sales;
  • You will have proven success in delivering sales order targets and pipeline generation targets for a large field sales team;
  • You will have a track record in sales management, interpersonal & teamwork skills, with experience in inspiring passion, mentoring and developing highly effective sales talent in a fast paced, sales focused environment;
  • Highly effective communication skills, and proven collaboration skills with all levels.
