Location - Fort Dunlop, Birmingham

Salary - £50,000pa

PURPOSE OF THE JOB



The RPA Implementer will come from either a Technical Business Analyst / Systems Analyst or workflow development background. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing RPA automations utilising visual development tools.

The role will require working closely with business analysts to understand documented business requirements, solution architects and technical leads to design RPA solutions to fit within varying enterprise architectures, project managers to follow an agile implementation methodology and test/support resource to drive the implementation of efficient, transformational, robust, extendable and maintainable RPA solutions.

The role is part of an exciting new and growing team created to deliver RPA across the whole of Capita and to external customers. It is head quartered out of Fort Dunlop, Birmingham but travel and working at Capita sites around the UK will be required. Some home/remote working will also be possible.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with business analysts to understand how RPA is proposed to be applied to a business area.
  • Understand how people, processes and systems interact and identify where technology (such as integration, automation, robotics) should be applied to improve these interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects and technical leads to understand the technical landscape and to implement RPA solutions that will deliver the business requirements.
  • Follow a scrum methodology through an agile implementation lifecycle.
  • Support product backlog creation, sprint planning, stand-ups and positively contribute to the team daily.
  • Utilise the RPA design tools, from platforms such as UiPath and Blue Prism, to implement efficient and reliable RPA workflows and automations.
  • Ensure quality is built into implementations and validated through robust testing methodologies.



Your experience will include:

Mandatory

  • Experience in Technical Analysis or Systems Analysis
  • Practical experience of working from detailed process documentation to create technical process designs.
  • Follow best practice in design and reuse principles but be creative and strive to continuously improve RPA implementations and the team approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of projects that use technology to transform end to end business processes
  • Experience of planning and organising own workload to meet a given brief
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually



Desirable

  • Experience directly or indirectly in the implementation and validation of software solutions.
  • Understanding of software development using technologies such as C#, .NET, Windows Workflow, SQL Server and other related technologies.
  • Knowledge of a range of technologies that can be used to improve business processes, ideally including robotic process automation but also other technologies such as integration platforms, business process management tools, customer service platforms etc
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
