We are Recruiting for a number of Project Managers for an exciting RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Project for a FTSE 250 Client in Birmingham, paying up to £500 a day Umbrella / Ltd .


The Project Manager will be responsible for the project delivery aspects of our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions.

The role will include understanding the business area where RPA is potentially to be deployed, assisting in the creation of a business case through an initial discovery phase, working with business area teams, RPA implementation and support teams to ensure the successful agile development and deployment of the RPA solution within agreed timescales and to realise the identified benefits.

What you will do:

  • Construct and own the RPA business delivery plan and coordinate associated deliverables and activities.
  • Manage Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies across projects.
  • Ensure project governance and act as first point of contact for communication of any changes, slippages or other requests. Ensure these are managed and effectively communicated to the customer and delivery team/s.
  • Manage all financial aspects of the project in line with agreed management criteria e.g. P&L, stakeholder reporting.
  • Act as a key facilitator within the programme, (e.g. being a point of arbitration between the client, the stakeholders and the solution team).
  • Assist in understanding what the project / programme will deliver from a business and benefits perspective and to advise on areas where this in not congruent with the proposed solution/plan.
  • Support agile working during the development cycle, aiding and supporting the use of the Scrum methodology.
  • Advise and support the programme in ensuring that the programme delivers the agreed benefits.
  • Undertake peer reviews, audits, standards compliance checks and due diligence as required.
  • Work by and promote standards and vision

Your experience will include:


  • Prince II or similar PM qualification.
  • Good stakeholder management.
  • Good communication skills - both written and oral.
  • Good matrix person management of project staff and external suppliers.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing IT/software development projects.
  • An ability to understand what needs to be done to successfully deliver technology based solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum ideally including tools such as Jira.
  • Experience of planning and organising own and the team's workload to meet a given brief.
  • Experience supporting the construction of business cases.
  • An ability and willingness to solve problems and make things happen.
  • A good ability to make best use of the MS Office suite including MS Project and SharePoint.
