Project Delivery PM (Data Privacy/GDPR)
Based / Hayes or Aldershot / 12 Months / Data / GDPR / Risk / Security
As a member of a virtual cross functional GDPR Data Privacy team, you will coordinate the delivery of the GDPR Processing (ROPA and DPIA) workstream, Technical Remediation workstream and support the operationalization of the relevant policies and processes for the client. This role should drive project delivery and change management methodology to meet project deliverables and implement sustainable change.

Key Responsibilities

  • The role will support the team and wider client contacts on the GDPR data privacy program mainly in the areas of Processing and Technical Remediation.
  • Monitor assessment status of risk follow-up in OneTrust and track progress.
  • Create and send new OneTrust assessments as required.
  • Prepare materials as required e.g. presentations, processes and other documentation.
  • Set up and run information webinars and ensure follow-up of actions and issues.
  • Support and drive the operationalization of policies (examples ROPA, DPIA, Privacy by Design) requiring change management skills.
  • Provides status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues with updates in Nymity as required.
  • Provide the necessary support to the team and program manager as required
  • Follow up and monitor progress with individuals as required and respond to enquiries.
  • Maintain the technical remediation gap assessment tracker up to date and create dashboards to measure performance along several different risk dimensions
  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate data to track remediation delivery performance and important developments; synthesize raw data into digestible and actionable information
  • Communicate across virtual cross functional teams through the lifecycle of the project from initiation through to delivery; involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and project management team meetings; facilitate and directly drive critical issue resolution and eliminate roadblocks.
  • Manage project risks and issues, effectively communicate mitigation plans and escalate issues where appropriate; serve as the key escalation point for all critical issues and initiatives

Knowledge and skills

  • Experience in successful project delivery to on-time, on-schedule and within budget with good knowledge of project management practices and tools
  • Experience of implementation of software development and / or applications, (data privacy, GDPR would be a plus),
  • Strong team player and used to work with virtual teams
  • Experience of working in an operational environment
  • Experience in change and knowledge of process management
  • Good presentation and communication skills; both written and oral
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to competing demands
  • of process management
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, OneTrust, Nymity, PowerBI, MS Project collaboration tools (e.g. Sharepoint, Teams)
  • Experienced working to tight deadlines & goal focused
  • Highly disciplined and methodical
  • Excellent English spoken and written
  • Knowledge of Data Privacy and/or GDPR is a plus
