Project Coordinator required to join our leading technology provider in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience of running small projects across a wide range of technology streams in an organisation providing consultancy and technology services as a key supplier.
You will be responsible for the management and execution of a portfolio of engagements (circa 35-50 small projects), co-ordinating activities and resources and driving successful outcomes for multiple projects simultaneously. A key objective will be to ensure efficient delivery of your allocated portfolio.
Throughout project planning and project implementation it will be the responsibility of the Project Coordinator to provide information on progress to the customer, project stakeholders, Programme Director and operations staff as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate and deliver numerous small projects concurrently.
Identify internal and external resources, whether financial or human, to deliver the project successfully
Gather information on projects from the supplier Project Managers, Solutions Managers and other key stakeholders to plan, support and deliver projects accurately and effectively
Evaluate the progress of a project on a regular basis and take proactive steps to resolve any risks or issues
Maintain project data within the project management tools to ensure clear and concise information on all projects
Report on progress on the projects
Put relevant documentation in place in support of the change work
Ensure completeness of activities and compliance with Governance
Maintain and update governance and related documentation, standards and templates
Meeting organisation, documentation and facilitation
Maintenance of Risk Register
Support for Gateway Meetings
Support for Resource Management Process
Support for Template and Document Management
Support Process Documentation
Support for Team Communications

Skills & Experience Required:
Ability to use standard project management tools and techniques
Experience using Microsoft Office 2013 suite
Manage multiple tasks, conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
Monitor your workload to ensure that all issues are resolved and appropriate communication levels are maintained
Listen and question effectively to identify team and customer requirements
Ability to direct others appropriately i.e. appropriate use of: Assertion, Control and Confidence
Identify, control and manage unexpected challenges and issues
Manage colleague and customer frustrations and expectations to provide excellent service and a positive customer outcome
Build and maintain professional working relationships across the business
Understanding of an Industry recognised Project Management methodology
An understanding of the value of customer service in developing and retaining business
Desirable:
Experience of working for an IT reseller.
