PMO Planner

An internationally renowned, multi-award-winning Consultancy company, based in Leeds, now have an immediate requirement to add a skilled and conscientious PMO Planner to their team on a permanent basis. You will be working exclusively with one of the UK's largest and most prestigious companies to contribute to the alteration and improvement of various processes across the business.

You as the successful PMO Planner can expect to achieve an annual salary around £40,000 + a generous benefits package. There will also be significant opportunities for progression that comes with working for a company of this size and stature as well as ongoing training and development from day one.

As a PMO Planner, your key responsibilities will include;

  • At the Portfolio level, consolidate programme and project plans to provide an overall portfolio view, audit plans, produce portfolio plans and reports and work with the planning team to allocate the appropriate resources.
  • At the Programme level, work with the delivery teams and programme planner and audit plans to identify any discrepancies and generate any reports as needed.
  • At the project level, work with the project managers and PMO analysts to support them in developing and maintaining their project plans and produce detailed 'Go Live' plans.
  • Manage the supply and demand process with the operational and project teams and identify any resource clashes or shortfalls so plans are not affected.
  • Report progress against schedule, providing progress metrics and comprehensive schedules in various formats
  • Provide critical path analysis, trend forecasts and manage detailed schedule reviews.

What you'll need;

  • Extensive experience working within a PMO function in a Planner/Planning based role
  • Excellent ability to accurately report progress of various projects using MS Project
  • Outstanding ability to manage senior stakeholders effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An excellent ability to provide feedback to relevant parties on scheduling and to understand where new projects can fit into the busy schedule
  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
