You will have experience of implementing and maintaining governance across programmes comprising both business and technical projects and product portfolios to ensure accurate reporting to time, cost and quality for steering board. You will work closely with the Head of Business Change and the Portfolio manager.

However, you are more than just an admin function collating reports; you will also be proactive and analytical looking for trends against the current portfolio, project reviews and post benefits realisation to identify risks and improvements.

In addition, you will be responsible for the Lifecycles, practices and artefacts of the Business Change function and looking to continually improve the way we work.

You are the custodian and conscience of the Portfolio; firm and assertive but are pragmatic and flexible. You are an engaging and proactive communicator and team player with strong stakeholder management skills. Just at home talking to board members as to senior stakeholders, Project managers and proxy project managers from the business (who may not have formal PM training or understand governance) and able to flex your style and support accordingly.
