My central Leeds based client, a leading IT Consultancy, are looking for a junior PMO Analyst to join their growing team on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This represents a fantastic opportunity for a junior PMO Analyst / grauate to obtain hands on exposure within a FTSE 250 Organisation. My Clients Project Management Office is undergoing an evolution to further mature and standardise processes across project delivery. The PMO Analyst will be a key resource working at the project level to successfully embed and facilitate a number of these processes, to ensure quality project delivery.

This individual will report to the PMO Manager and work closely with the Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered to their best potential. The successful candidate will be expected to quickly understand the projects being delivered and be confident in analysing key project details to provide constructive feedback to Project Managers on any concerns or gaps that may be identified.

Specific duties will include but are not limited to, the following essential job functions:

  • Facilitate Risk Management sessions with Project Managers, analysing mitigation/resolution plans and identifying key themes that may impact the wider organisation, escalating where necessary
  • Assist Project Managers to form and maintain Microsoft Project Schedules, combining plans into a consolidated view and supporting planning processes, such as; demand supply and forecasting
  • Create and manage input to key reports, reviewing quality and required level of input, based on the stakeholders due to receive them
  • Maintain and analyse project metrics through Microsoft Excel dashboards and analysis tools, to provide constructive, quantifiable, feedback on the project quality
  • Support consolidation of project resourcing demand, proactively identifying issues and supporting resolution
  • Responsibility for version controlling key project documentation, through facilitation of a document review process
