IT Operations Manager

Capita are recruiting for an IT Operations Manager for our London bridge office. This is a permanent role with an immediate start and is paying £55,000 - £70,000 basic salary depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities include:

  • To provide support to the head of Operations and Operations director on issues of IT delivery and security
  • Be responsible for delivery of IT change business requirements/impact assessments
  • Act as the single point of on-site contact issues
  • Ensure IT change project affecting the business are managed in a controlled way, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Work with the business to identify IT Change requirements
  • Manage the daily IT operations

Onsite responsibilities include:

  • Assist with and support KWS JML Processes
  • Manage the assignments of new starters desktop
  • Manage onsite hardware and printer issues linking in with Capita SDM and Head of IT
  • Support and manage Capita involvement in any KWS planned or unplanned power downs and subsequent recovery activities
  • Support procurement, rollout and issue resolution of client software
  • Mobile phone support
  • Assist with any on site drive access issues
  • Locally assist and manage e-mail issues & Cobweb management
  • Manage and support asset management processes
  • Oversee KWS Patch and updates support activities
  • Assist with resolution of any actuarial serer issues
  • Provide local desktop support
  • Bandwidth monitoring of KWS workplace
