The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement DevOps Engineer will work within the DevOps team; undertaking analysis, development, data migration, testing and validation to deliver innovative Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions to meet the business requirements.

Configuration and customisation (code) within Workspace Agility is driven through a DevOps approach to provide reliable, maintainable deployments, with Scrum development, build and release of features through CI/CD.

Responsibilities

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing through communication, diagrams and other relevant artefacts - configuration and/or customisation code (preferably programmatically where possible) to provide a Customer Service based primarily on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Plan.
  • Design and develop end to end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement services and solutions.
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing and delivery of Dynamics 365 interface solutions to deliver value to the Workspace Agility service and customers.
  • Adhere to Best Practices for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement implementations.
  • Understands and supports architectural standards, reference models, guidelines and principles.
  • Keeping abreast of product developments and improvements to determine the potential benefits and impacts to the product and roadmap.
  • Retrieving, managing and processing data from various data sources

Skills & Competencies

  • The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement DevOps Engineer will have the following core skills and competencies:
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Customer Service experience in deployment, configuration (ideally programmatically) and support.
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Field Service Operations experience in deployment, configuration (ideally programmatically) and support.
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Project Service Automation experience in deployment, configuration (ideally programmatically) and support.
  • Dynamics 365 Omni-Channel Engagement Hub experience in deployment, configuration (ideally programmatically) and support.Must be experienced in Azure DevOps (ADO - formally VSTS) or similar.
  • Git Repositories, including TDD and CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • Programming language experience and skills for extending/customising Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement via CRM Plugins and CRM Solutions, server/service side via the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement SDK (where available configuration is insufficient to meet business needs).
  • Familiar with and experience of configuration, integration and support of CafeX LiveAssist or similar LiveChat and Co-Browse toolsets.
  • Identity Management service integration experience such as AzureAD.
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement integration with ITSM toolsets such as BMC Remedy and ServiceNow for bi-directional case linking and updates.
  • External service integration - Graph API (including authentication), Virtual Entities, Interfaces, Azure, ITSM tools, Microsoft Flow, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Deployment, updates, upgrades - Azure DevOps for source code control, build and release, CICD pipelines, Maintenance windows etc.
  • Workflows and Forms - Defining, developing and delivering forms, workflows and automatons.
  • ChatBot integrations knowledge and experience.
  • Business to Business (B2B) Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Portal authentication.
  • External data storage - experienced in data storage management, integration and reduction to save Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement storage costs
  • Highly experienced in the definition, development and execution of test strategies, including automated testing, to include Behaviour Driven Development and Test-Driven Development.
  • Knowledge Articles - creation, management and maintenance.
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Security and RBAC
  • Developing GDPR compliant solutions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Dynamics 365 licensing including costs.
  • Reporting and MI - design, development and delivery including PowerBI.
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement development experience - installation, deployment, customisation and extension.
  • Significant knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, and the O365 platform as it pertains to feature sets that integrate with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions, including SharePoint and OneDrive/OneNote.
  • Experience with Representational State Transfer (REST) web services and designing and developing XML/JSON based schemas for data exchange.
  • Extensive experience working in a multi-platform, enterprise environment in a development role.
  • Experience in developing business critical solutions using cloud-based vendor programming language, .Net, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, XML, HTML 5.
  • PowerBI experience for report and dashboard creation.
  • Package and Solution Deployer experience.
  • Azure experience (Functions, Logic Apps, API management, Key Vault, Resource Groups, Service Bus etc.).
  • Understand, and be able to show retrieving, managing/processing and displaying data within Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement from various data sources.
