Lead Business Analyst (FTC)

Lead Business Analyst to work for a FTSE 100 organisation. Our customer is one of the largest British companies in the world and due to a major customer engagement are currently seeking a Lead Business Analyst

  • You will produce standard business analysis products (e.g. requirements traceability matrices, business process maps)
  • You will support projects and programmes with identifying blockers when migrating to the New World platform and application - start with the business problem to aid technical colleagues to identify the best solutions
  • You will work with Service Architecture colleagues and the Service Management team to design the end-to-end customer journey for our services.
  • Manage and lead a team of analysts from contract / proposal initiation to final operational stage, including through the design, build, test, and transition to live activities.
  • Ensure that assigned analysis, user research and business process workstreams are managed effectively in line with corporate methodology and global best practice. For all assigned projects execute the planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on activities, risks, issues, and dependencies in line with global best practice requirements and provide reporting through the PMO.
  • Ensure the quality of the solutions by identifying actions to resolve delivery risks and issues; supporting suppliers and delivery teams to manage the impact of changes when developing and delivering these solutions so that delivery remains on track.
  • Where required, support creation of business readiness plans taking into consideration technology deployment, data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement activities) and any business activities required to integrate new processes or jobs into the 'business as usual' environment.
  • You will reveal what our users need from our products and services by conducting primary research, exploring their behaviours and motivations, to ensure we develop the right solutions.
  • You will help inspire change by delivering exciting presentations about your research and analytical findings. Most importantly, you will help our team understand what makes a user's experiences feel more intuitive, accessible, and even delightful by delivering better outcomes.
  • You will produce standard user research and user experience products (e.g. personas, user journeys)


The ideal candidate will be an experienced Business Analyst with similar experience to the above. Experience of leading a team of Business Analyst's or experience of working in large Consulting environments such as PwC, Cap Gemini, Accenture, Capita etc is seen as highly desirable.

You will also be working in a secured environment so will need to be able to obtain BPSS clearance.

The role will be based in London / Manchester and they operate a home working flexibility environment.

This role falls into IR35 so we are recruiting for it on a Fixed Term Contract basis.
