Junior Change Manager / Change Co-ordinator

Based in Runcorn, Cheshire or Ruddington, Nottingham

My client are actively seeking a dedicated and ambitious Junior Change Manager / Change Co-ordinator for the opportunity to join one of the most talented and dynamic teams in the UK supporting a high-profile, prestigious programme.

As the role is based within a pre-eminent organisation in the smart energy meters industry, it will be absolutely critical to ensure that there is a fully effective Change Management function put in place which underpins the business requirements of the Smart Energy Code (SEC) and demands of its Users. As part of this new team, we are seeking ambitious, self-starting, inquisitive and confident individuals to help lead the service into the future. The current service is utilised by around 1 million homes, but will grown to approximately 53 million homes by 2020.

This is an exciting role in a highly dynamic environment with a need for passionate, committed and flexible people. You must be able to demonstrate your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be working alongside stakeholders both internally and externally of the business which will require your professionalism at all times. Your previous experience in working directly with stakeholders will be key in this position.

We are seeking candidates that have previously worked in a growing organisation and have proven history in having to grow and develop with that business. If you have also worked in an environment of continuous service improvement, that would be very beneficial in your understandings of the need for this position.

Your awareness of the ITSM lifecycle is key and your understanding of ITIL practices and methodolgies will be vital to the expectations within this role. Along with this, you must also have sufficient experience utilising service change management tools such as remedy.

You will be required to monitor incoming requirements from a central mailbox, report on change processes, liase with stakeholders, manage aspects of operational change amongst many other responsibilities; therefore your organisational skills and attention to detail are of huge importance.

There is flexibility in the base location of this role. Either the Ruddington office (Nottingham) or Preston Brook office (Runcorn) can be the primary location for candidates with occassional travel to the other site.
