IT Service Manager (ITIL, ISO27001, VMWare)

IT Service Manager or IT Service Desk Manager to work for our transforming public sector customer who have been investing in their digital and IT Service capabilities. Due to the transformational work they have been going through, they are looking for an IT Service Desk Manager to oversee and manage IT Services ITSM and service delivery. The IT Service Desk Manager will be based out of their offices based in Plymouth.

The nature of the role for the IT Service Desk and Services Manager will be to manage the Service Delivery and Service desk functions, ensuring efficient levels of service to customers. The IT Service Desk Manager will be working with their manager to developer service strategies, supporting the Digital and IT Roadmap. The IT Services Manager or IT Service Desk Manager will have a number of direct reports to manage, overseeing Digital and IT Services, Digital and IT Service Delivery, Infrastructure Security, maintenance, recovery and capacity planning.

The ideal IT Services Manager or Service Desk Manager will have proven experience of managing IT Services / Service Desk (1st to 3rd Line). Knowledge of Virtual environments (VMWare), Experience of IS027001 and Strong ITIL experience. The Service Manager / Service Desk Manager will have proven experience of overseeing Service Management functions and managing several staff members.
