Capita IT Resourcing is currently recruiting for an ITIL-based IT Change Manager to join us on a permanent basis working on the TfL account.

Main responsibilities for the role:

  • Maintain and provide a portfolio view of the progress of all business change - and working closely with the Change Coordinator to provide progress reporting, KPIs & metrics
  • Drive business change management process rollout and adoption across the account
  • Lead & manage change management process, thinking creatively to deliver innovative strategies and roadmaps that work end-to-end and can be adapted as required by Programme, BAU and IT teams
  • Working with Solution and Technical Architects and other SMEs to understand and capture the forward looking roadmap of key technology changes and upgrades
  • Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers across the organization and provide assurance that changes are being managed effectively and efficiently
  • Chairing Business Change Advisory Board (BCAB) and providing weekly reporting to the BCAB on the progress of changes (change pipeline and changes in development)
  • Presenting any new change requests received to the BCAB for review and approval (co-presenting with the Change Requestor, where required)
  • Liaising with key stakeholders (including members of the Change Forum and other individuals and roles as required) to ensure appropriate levels of assurance and rigour is applied to each change
  • Overseeing review and approval of Impact Assessments
  • Working closely with PMO Manager and Delivery PMs to track progress and reporting of Changes in Delivery
  • Liaising with key individuals across the Programme and BAU teams to obtain update reports on the delivery and progress of specific changes

Skills and experience for the role:

  • Solid commercial experience in ITIL Change management process
  • Extensive experience of the end to end change management lifecycle across complex projects and programmes
  • Solid experience of applying change management approaches, tools and methods, such as defining the vision and case for change, leadership alignment, behaviour and culture change, stakeholder engagement and communications, change impact, change agent networks, digital tools training
