Information Governance & Incident Manager

My leading consultancy client are looking for an experienced Information Governance and Incident Manager to be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of an Information Governance and Security compliance framework and Information Governance and Security incident management. The ideal candidate will be based out of their Blackburn office and have previous experience working within the NHS. Broad incident management experience is also highly desirable.

What you will do

  • Deliver an Information Governance and Security compliance framework in line with ISO 27001
  • Develop routine compliance reports
  • Develop, implement, and manage incident management practices
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly comprehensive reports
  • Ensure that all notifications and investigation reports are developed, reviewed, and submitted
  • Increase awareness of Information Governance and Security across the business
  • Provide support to ensure the effective maintenance of Information Governance & Security in all business areas
  • Ensure that all documentation complies with client requirements
  • Conduct Information Governance and Security risk and compliance assessments, as well as coordinating and managing external audits
  • Attend and chair Information Governance and Security meetings
  • Supervisor and support junior members of the Information Governance and Security team
