My client is delivering market leading applications that are transforming how they and their customers work. We are looking for our next addition to help shape our future.

For our next recruit we are looking for a seasoned financial services professional, knowledge of the Building Society sector would be an advantage.

The individual we are looking for will be dynamic, full of ideas, have excellent communication skills and be able to inspire both internal and external stakeholders alike.

This is a dynamic role and you will be involved in a broad range of projects that may include new product launches, major product enhancements, system improvements or any number of highly visible business critical projects.

Relationships will be key as you will be working and collaborating with the entire business to drive the best outcome.

This role will include a good deal of on-site work with our customer base and as such you must be prepared to travel.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • You will have strong, demonstrable experience in stakeholder management, and the ability to credibly and authoritatively represent the company in front of business and technology stakeholders.
  • Assist the project manager through their full lifecycle responding to emerging business demands and developments
  • The ability to interact and collaborate professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, subject matter experts, developers and end users.
  • As a passionate advocate of our products you will provide sales support including hands on demo's and presentations to individuals and groups.

Implementation & Training

  • A hands on approach to project delivery will be required as you will be expected to take an active part throughout the Project lifecycle
  • You will be confident in delivering presentations, demonstrations and training both to individual stakeholders and groups.
  • Be able to support the test cycle.
  • When required provide application support and work with development and operations teams to investigate, prioritise and resolve reported incidents.
  • Dealing with incoming requests for help in a professional, courteous manner over the phone and via email
  • Taking ownership of issues and managing them in a logical and methodical manner
  • Correctly logging incidents and faults, categorising and prioritising them in line with team procedures
  • Managing issues through their entire lifecycle from the first point of contact through to resolution, proactively keeping the customer informed of progress
  • Diagnosing and resolving problems to the customers satisfaction
  • Maintain and develop own knowledge and
  • Sharing knowledge with team colleagues
  • Provide testing assistance, software demonstrations and training at the customers premise


  • Familiar with Jira or equivalent software
  • A financial services background, ideally in Mortgages, Loans or Online Banking
  • Previous experience as a software tester, business analyst or implementation consultant/junior project manager
  • Must be able to demonstrate a customer first approach to support
  • The ability to liaise and communicate confidently and professionally with customer representatives at all levels
  • Natural aptitude for trouble shooting & problem solving
  • Highly organised and able to work on own initiative to complete the range of tasks required
  • Flexible and willing to work outside core business hours as required
