Functional Billings expert required by our leading Air Industry client in Hayes.
We are looking for a billing expert capable to drive various programs and / or initiatives within the Billing IT environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management experience (Business Units, Pricing, other 3rd parties…) and be providing leadership, motivation and final target.
Success in this role means you will have exceptionally attentive to detail, have a strong analytical background, and you are familiar with risk management and delivery. You possess strong influencing skills and enjoy working with off-shore suppliers and internal teams of diverse backgrounds worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Working as a Billing Solutions Expert for proposals and their integration to the company's Billing environment.

  • Should be conversant with all Data models covering Technical and business Master data.
  • Collaborate with the other internal teams (IT teams, business and vendors) to deliver overall solutions according to the specifications with emphasis on the integration of the client products and services.
  • Monitor performance with continuous aim to improve the system elements, reporting functions and processes. Provide recommendations according to pre-identified requirements.
  • Help billings move forward with automation.
  • Participate in the design phase to finalize the functional designs, configure applications to meet business process requirements.
  • Translate functional requirements into system, application, and process designs and solutions.
  • Assign and manage work of offshore Billing functional and technical team.
  • Responsible for Integration Test, test scripts and UAT support to business.
  • Provide defect resolution in various test phases.
  • Verify project deliverables for completeness and quality.
  • Work with client business stakeholders to review and approve these deliverables.


Effective time management and influencing people skills are key ingredients to be successful in managing the change management process and ensuring to quality and customer expectations delivery.

Change Management administration - Your ability to write clearly and simply are key skills to documenting activities. Documentation ranges from developing communications strategy plans, providing status reports, submitting and tracking change requests and lessons learned. Accuracy is the key.

Education & Qualifications

·University degree or equivalent

·Fluent in English, a second European language (French) would be an advantage



Experience

·You have solid experience in Billing within an IT solutions or airline industry solutions provider.

  • You understand a Billing System (Kenan knowledge should be an advantage).

·You have a track record of success in managing small programs and deliverables within a commercial or IT environment.

·You have experience speaking in front of various leadership levels and you are capable leading and influencing teams focused on delivery and support within an international environment.

  • You possess a good understanding of the latest trends and innovations within the Telecommunications industry and relevant technology areas

Knowledge & Skills

·Excellent understanding of Billing system elements and their interaction.

·Experience in project management or delivery

·Familiarity with change management methodologies and the project life cycle.

·Attention to detail is a must, given the complexity of billing.

·Customer focussed and should possess excellent communication and analytical skills.
