Finance Software Support Analyst

Capita IT Resourcing is currently recruiting for a Software Support Analyst to join our FTSE250 client on a permanent basis. The role is working within the ServiceDesk team which is based in the Chelmsford office. The successful candidate will be expected to answer calls from customers regarding the software products that the Finance team supports and, where possible, resolving these issues or queries at first point of contact. In addition you will be expected to work on issues from the work queue and progress to resolution using current 2nd line processes.

  • Ability to problem solve and analyse customer issues
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Conscientious and self-motivated
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Patient with the ability to empathise with customers
  • Excellent time-keeping
  • A desire to pro-actively learn the software supported by the Finance Team
  • Previous accounting knowledge or experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Previous knowledge finance in a school environment would be advantageous but not essential
