Data Analyst (Digital Marketing and consumer insights) Data Scientist

Data Analyst with a digital marketing background or digital marketing experience around reporting, CPA or traffic, to work for a household organisation; that are heavily invested in data analytics capabilities. Due to growth and the creation of a brand new data analytics team, the data scientist will have the opportunity to come on board and define how they do things, it's a BIG OPPORTUNITY for the right person, working in a fun start up style environment for a large organisation who are passionate about data analytics. The Data analyst / scientist will come on board and join this new team based in London.

The nature of the role for the Data analyst / scientist will be to lead the marketing team using fata in a 'growth hacking' lean style. The data scientist will own their own roadmap, define and have a voice in how things are done. As mentioned before it's a big opportunity to the right commercially and analytical, curious minded Data scientist. The data scientist will join a brand new analytics team that focusses on digital marketing and consumer focussed analytics. The Data Scientist will be the guru for all analysis, insights and digital marketing science. This will help optimise their customer marketing channels and insights. The data scientist will be involved in optimising their digital acquisition targeting; help the marketing team understand their customers looking at behaviours and segments. Translating that data into actionable insights, looking at and identifying new opportunities for growth.

The ideal data scientist will have 3-5years experience working in optimising digital media using big data and visualisation. Someone who knows the digital media space come from a digital marketing background or has digital marketing experience e.g. reporting, CPA, traffic, attribution. The data scientist will be commercially minded and will also have knowledge of the following:

  • SQL and database knowledge
  • Statistics knowledge e.g. R, python, SAS
  • Customer/data analysis i.e. segmentation, propensity modelling, decision trees (linked to above)
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels

Desirable

  • Media mix knowledge e.g. econometrics, channel

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right data scientist to be part of a brand new data analytics team, who are really focussed and seriously investing in their data analytics practise.
