CRM Administrator

This role offers the opportunity to deliver a step-change in our CRM capability through delivery of a data strategy, and management of associated processes and governance.

The role will own the management of our CRM customer data; provide a clear strategy for increasing and maintaining data quality and completeness, and work with key stakeholders across the ESS business including Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, Sales and Support Desk - to ensure that ESS data is the backbone of the business.

This role will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience of building and embedding CRM governance, processes and controls to ensure this becomes part of the ESS DNA. There is a need to design and build management dashboards adding value by providing actionable intelligence and insight across our product and customer segments.

This role will be required to engage across the business and work with stakeholders at every level of the organisation. This will be a senior appointment where the candidate can help the business increase its level of maturity on how it manages its CRM system and uses its data to help make impactful business decisions.

This role will be required to ensure data contained in CRM accurately reflects the following to allow critical business processes, appropriate segmentation and key communications to take place:

  • Products and services bought by each customer, including licencing details
  • Contract details, including termination and renewal dates
  • Service requests and history for each customer

Key skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within data planning roles
  • Must be a strategic thinker with an innovative approach to data, pushing the boundaries of how data can be used to decode customer needs and solve business problems
  • Ability to audit and health check the quality, accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Ability to work across functions and design and build governance processes to help maintain the quality and accuracy of data.
  • Working with the Service desk, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, Retentions to agree key reporting metrics and build dashboards to monitor key performance indicators across multiple products.
  • Ability to build plans to help clean and correct data currently held in CRM.
  • Must have experience of data capture strategies and how to push these through to implementation
  • Experienced in business casing and ROI development.
  • A strong track record of impressing both internal and external clients with their knowledge and experience of how data and insight can drive business improvements.
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics highly desirable.
  • Experience or understanding of the education market would be a significant advantage.
