Are you a proven Team Leader / Line Manager?

Are you looking for a new opportunity to help your local community?

My client is currently working on a UK-wide project of work and are looking for 4 exceptional individuals to join them as Community Outreach Event Team Leaders. With 4 teams based across the UK, you will be responsible for a team of up to 10 colleagues who will be advising and helping older customers with upcoming changes in service.

So what will your role involve?

  • Effectively managing and motivating your team to provide the support events to all potential customers within your region.
  • You will act as an ambassador for my client, providing advice and support to the community in Outreach events across your local region (Cross Pennie, Midlands-Bristol, London and surrounding area).
  • Assessing circumstances and requirements of customers to provide solutions, advice, help and guidance to affected members of the community.
  • Effective communication of changes to service, policies and improvements to customers who may display vulnerabilities.
  • Paid travel around your region to attend a number of events with occasional requirements to stay away from home, also paid for.
  • Use of simple technology to facilitate the project of work.
  • Collecting and reporting data as required.
  • Collect customer feedback and correctly handle any potential complaints as necessary.

What do you need to apply for this position?

  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience as a Team Leader / Line Manager in your career
  • Previous experience supporting individuals who are potentially vulnerable (the elderly, those with disabilities and minors)
  • Ability to be flexible in your approach to working patterns
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Quick learning skills - ability to communicate new information in a clear way
  • IT literate - you don't need to be a technical specialist, don't worry!
  • A caring nature and a desire to help others

We are looking for people to start as soon as February for this project with screening and interviewing starting immediately.
