Change & Release Analyst to work for a FTSE 250 organisation. Our customer is one of the largest British companies in the world and operates a major service partnership for a Central Government agency. Due to expanded growth within the partnership, our customer is now looking to build and recruit a new Service Desk / Delivery function. The role will be based working from home, however, after lockdown there may be a need to be based out of office locations local to Liverpool / Manchester.

The nature of the role will be to be responsible for assisting in in the assessment, control and scheduling of all updates, projects, patches, software and hardware released into the production and customer environments and assists in the running of the PMO and CAB functions for the business.

Role Overview:

  • Plan and rolls out software, configuration, updates, patches and other changes including hardware
  • Design and carry out procedures for the distribution and installation of changes to systems and services.
  • Undertake analysis after release and set the plan for upcoming changes
  • Deputise for the C&R Manager at CAB (Change Advisor Board) as required
  • Liaise with all internal and external development and change teams, including all Lots and the client
  • Ensure alignment with ITIL Change & Release Management principals
  • Supervise the IT PMO function for the business
  • Produce the forward schedule of change ensuring business engagement with all roadmaps
  • Provide regular compliance and performance statistics and reports to the C&R Manager
  • Protect the production environment through rigorous governance
  • Work effectively with IT Operations and Service Delivery teams.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Change Analyst with similar experience to the above. You will have experience of PMO processes and procedures and therefore be involved with assessing, analysing, developing, documenting and implementing change processes across service delivery functions. You will have strong ITIL knowledge / experience and have a solid understanding of change management and project management principles.
Potential candidates must be eligible to gain BPSS and SC Clearance. Previous, or current clearance is seen as highly desirable.
