An exciting opportunity has risen for a BDM / BDE / ACCOUNT MANAGER to join an ambitious & forward thinking logistics company. Based near Staines this organisation has direct links to Heathrow & London.

This Business Development role has come about due to growth & is an instrumental cog in moving the business forward. With over 1000 accounts to manage the BDE will take a proportion of these accounts & manage them professionally & effectively to help increase revenue.

The Company has been established for over 20 years & is a main player in the courier & freight industry, With a strong Sales team behind you there is a wealth of high spending customers to enable you to earn bonus on top of your basic salary.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
* Spend 3-4 days per week in London visiting clients;
* Establish new leads & grow the companies profile;
* Up sell & Cross sell the companies services to your existing client portfolio;
* Grow the existing customer list;
* Be a great communicator & be bale to assess the customer needs.

You will:
* Have experience in dealing with customers in a B2B level;
* Be persuasive & target driven;
* Have a long list on Contacts to call upon;
* Have drive & ambition to eventually run & manage your own team;
* Be polite, well mannered & have a clear career goals.
