Business Change Manager

Capita IT Resourcing is currently recruiting for a Business Change Manager to join a leading IT outsourcing client based in Wiltshire. Working in partnership with a defence organisation and reporting into the Head of Transformation, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business change through very strong stakeholder engagement within a complex organisation.

This role is true business change and is NOT focused on the IT and systems side. It requires a candidate with strong emotional intelligence, stakeholder engagement, someone who is familiar with the 5 stages of embracing change, ADKAR models and has the confidenece to decide what approach is needed for a situation, and implement it.

Essential skills and experience:

  1. Business change leader with an excellent track record of delivering business change within complex business environments
  2. The ability to operate at a senior and strategic level applying thought leadership influencing the essential infrastructural elements to be successful in business change
  3. Detailed understanding of similar environments demonstrating understanding/management of challenges and good practice.
  4. Credibility and impact with senior business leaders
  5. Utilise an influencing style of leadership, able to lead without authority, negotiating with others to achieve the best outcomes.
  6. Ability to work across a portfolio of projects and programmes to create an integrated way of working
  7. A drive to deliver tangible outcomes which meet business requirements
  8. An ability to work well under pressure in a rapidly evolving environment.
  9. Experience of managing people in a change resistant and complex business environment.
  10. Advanced communication and presentation skills.
  11. Experience of end to end change programme's which impact cultural and operational processes
  12. Driven business change and readiness campaigns from end to end
  13. A change qualification such as ADKAR, Prince, MSP or equivalent
  14. Experience of working at senior management level, within a complex matrix organisation
  15. Able to chair large meetings with a diverse membership within a contractual context.
  16. Act as a champion for candidates and their interests.
  17. Excellent planning and organisation capabilities
  18. Educated to degree level or equivalent
  19. Commercial awareness
