Business Analyst (Software Asset Management) to work for a FTSE 100 organisation. Our customer is currently delivering a huge IT Transformation programme with multiple new system implementations, coupled with a heavy focus on analysing and changing their current Software Asset Management environment.

Background - Our customer is a 75k staffed group of organisations with many different divisions and businesses. They have separate license agreements across the business and the aim is to consolidate all software licencing across the group centrally.

The nature of the role will be to work on a Software Asset Management consolidation programme. You will work with the PM to identify where the licenses are held, what they are used for and make sure the software is used in-line with licensing agreements. You will also work with the other colleagues in the project team to build a central function / team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Business Analyst with experience of working on Software Asset Management (SAM) projects. Experience of the below is seen as highly desirable.

  • Experience of Software Inventory/Software Asset Management
  • Understanding of contractual/license obligations and/or the ability to make sense of contractual documentation
  • Previous experience of assessing as-is and building requirements for future state solutions
  • Previous experience of building/supporting building business cases
