The Role: Project manager/Business analyst

Location: Swindon

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced software project professional who may be looking for a step up from their current role. You must have experience from either a business analysis or project management background, working on full software development lifecycles that have been successfully delivered. This role will play a key part in the running of three separate areas of the business from a software perspective with the view to aiding the future shape of the teams and advising from experience on team structure, organisation and growth where needed. The role will be working closely with the head of technical operations in order to work through the existing workload, as well as mapping future requirements and delivery methods for new software being developed. This role is not client facing but does require stakeholder exposure inhouse and requires someone who is analytical in their approach, and able to provide practical ideas and solutions which benefit the business.

Essential requirements for the role

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as either a business analyst or project manager with experience working on a full software development lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of AS IS/TO BE processes with given examples
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for planning detailed project tasks
  • Process improvement management
  • Excellent communication and organisation
  • BSC honours degree or equivalent
  • Prince 2 certification
  • Agile foundation or practitioner and experience working in an AGILE/SCRUM environment
  • Experience working on projects involving SQL databases
