Business Analyst

We are Recruiting for a number of Business Analysts for a FTSE 250 Client in Leeds on a 3 month contract, paying between £350 - £400 a day Ltd/Umbrella.

Travel to other UK sites may be required occasionally

Job Summary:

Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between the customer community, the project delivery function and the technical development team.

This person will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying and managing the business needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users.

The candidate will have significant previous analytical experience and be able to lead work packages and plan and deliver high quality work packages to agreed timeframes.

Specific deliverables:

  • To use existing assets (process maps and spreadsheets) to create a case management process document that's define the operational processes to be followed to receive and respond to customer contacts across email, telephone and white mail channels, including:
    • BPMN-compliant process model diagrams
    • Look-up of information across CRM systems
    • Editing customer records on CRM
    • Applying appropriate quality controls
    • Hand-off the right requests to the appropriate operational team according to a set of rules
    • Record accurate outcomes/resolution notes to customer enquiries.
  • To review, edit and run test scripts to verify that the processes run successfully in the test environment;
  • To conduct testing with the operational customer support centre staff and IT testing staff to achieve successful test outcomes;
  • To critically evaluate the IT system and ensure that the processes are optimised;
  • To write operational procedures (at work instruction level) that reflect the processes that have been designed

Role characteristics:

  • To define and document precise business requirements for specific projects or change controls with specific customer representatives so that a project of work can be scoped, specified in detail and conveyed to development partners.
  • To compile assessments of the impact (in terms of tasks required, timescales and effort needed) in response to the defined business requirements for any particular change initiative.
  • Produce BPMN-compliant process modelling materials in support of any required change.
  • Produce prioritised requirements documentation, user stories and screen mock-ups to define a particular feature or work package.
  • Self-starter with ability to focus on specific requirements and elaborate requirements that are necessary to achieve a specific business outcome. Awareness of scope boundaries and able to protect the scope of a work package during requirements elaboration.
  • Produces timely, cost effective and high-quality solutions to improve current processes or implement new ones, on the basis of analysis, business knowledge and sound personal judgement.
  • Independently gathers, analyses and synthesises complex data and information including business strategy, objectives and processes.
  • Develops business requirements and able to write supporting documentation, applying quality standards to deliverables. Able to use BPMN notation to produce supporting process documents.
  • Able to lead review of key deliverables with client stakeholders and senior management decision-makers.
  • Identifies & accurately monitors, records, prioritises and addresses project risks and issues.
  • Acquiring understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts and identifying the relationships between these parts.
  • Use established methodologies to work with staff to investigate and quantify project impacts and to identify cross project and cross-functional dependencies and then plan accordingly.
  • Function as a change agent to make improvements in systems, processes & procedures.
  • Defines and plans project deliverables for project or workstream team Ensure agreed project deliverables are completed to quality, on time and to budget.
  • Actively involved in the induction and onboarding of new members of the analysis team as required

Experience working within an NHS/Healthcare environment would be advantageous

Case Management experience is essential
