2nd Line Support Engineer
Wick, Scotland
£180 per day

Capita are searching for passionate 2nd Line Support Engineers to join a team in Wick.
Communicating effectively with customers to diagnose and resolve 1st and 2nd line network issues is a primary duty of this role. This is a technical role with a strong focus on customer service.
Necessary 2nd Line Support duties include:
Key Responsibilities:
The position will involve the following (but not restricted to) areas of responsibility:
 Escalate IT issues to the Service Delivery Manager where necessary
 Diagnose and resolve technical issues
 Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the Service Delivery Manager
 Provide desktop, laptop and some limited server support
 Support and maintain Laptop/Desktops
 Some MS Exchange and Active Directory setup
 Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
 Install authorised software to laptops and desktops
 Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops
 Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops
 Fault-finding to laptops and desktops

Depth of knowledge in the following technologies:
 MS Office
 MS Exchange/Email
 Active Directory
 Windows 7
