2nd Line Support Analyst (Applications)

My Reading based client, a leading IT Consultancy, are expanding their IT Division and are looking for a 2nd Line Support Analyst with previous Application expertise to join their team. Experience with applications such as SQL, Dynamics CRM ad IOS would be highly desirable to my client. The ideal candidate will support my client's business applications customers to ensure reporting across the application suite is aligned with business need. The successful Application Support Analyst will join an existing team providing support for these applications, and will involve support activities, design, development, configuration and testing of applications and the use of ITIL based processes to manage Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Implementation of software. You will effectively act as the key contact point for ad hoc reports to support stakeholders. You will also be responsible for resolving incidents and problems with business applications promoting a high level of application availability.

This role encompasses a number of elements including stakeholder management, support and quality assurance.
