A .NET Developer with a strong background in digital retail or ecommerce is required to join an exciting ecommerce business that is undergoing an exciting period of growth. As part of their digital growth they are looking to bring on a .NET Developer, with experience of working on web based applications and websites. The .NET Developer will be joining this exciting and dynamic business based in Hertfordshire.

The nature of the role for the .NET Developer will be to work in the IT team to develop and maintain existing E-Commerce sites and applications. The .NET Developer will be responsible for implementing the leading market trend, analyse application specifications and technology approaches to ensure business requirements are met and are scalable for future product releases, enhancements to their existing web portals, produce conceptual design documents and detailed specs for large-scale and complex projects and you will be working with business analysts and management to recommend future application solutions.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced .NET Developer with proven experience of working on web based applications and E-Commerce sites. The .NET Developer will also have to have good customer facing skills, the ability to work as part of a team and the ability to prioritise and self-manage.

Required Skills:

  • NET MVC 5 / Web API
  • C#, LINQ, NHibernate, Entity Framework
  • HTML5, JQuery, Bootstrap
  • Knowledge of writing queries in SQL Server
